Our Prayer Warrior’s Pledge

Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.”

Mt 18:18,19

Prayer is the charge of Christ and us on the spiritual battlefield! Its importance cannot be understated. Thanks be to God that 22 brothers and sisters made a resolution together last Wednesday: to attend prayer meeting regularly in-person in 2023 to pray for the church as one man! They took the prayer warrior’s pledge in unison as their commitment to one another under the lead of the pastor, elders and deacons.

I am a soldier,  a prayer warrior,

of the army of Christ.

           The Lord Jesus Christ is my Commanding Officer.

                The Holy Bible is my code of conduct.

                Prayer is my charge on the battlefield.

                Faith is my banner of victory.

           I will put on the full armour of God,

                   and pray in full obedience to the will of Christ my Commanding Officer.

I am a soldier,  a prayer warrior,

of the army of Christ.

           For the year 2023,

           I’m committed to report in person to Christ my Commanding Officer

                at the church’s prayer meeting

                perplexed, but not in despair;                 

                persecuted, but not abandoned;

                struck down, but not destroyed,

           for I am enlisted for eternity.

If my Lord permits,

           I shall either retire in this army at the Rapture

         or die in this Army.
