Introduction
Good Friday is the day which we commemorate the suffering of Jesus Christ on the cross for us about 2000 years ago. Because of His death and shedding of blood on the cross for our sins, our sins are forgiven by our faith in Jesus Christ. We now stand righteous and holy without sin before God, reconciled with God and receive His blessings.
This Good Friday family worship consists of 3 parts: Scripture reading, hymn singing, meditation prayer.
The scriptures that we are reading today are all related to the suffering of Jesus. After every scripture reading, we will then sing a hymn. You may then quieten down to meditate and pray on the hymn or the scriptures that were just read.
Let us together with our family, remember what our Lord Jesus Christ has done for us through the reading of God’s words and the meditation and prayer during the hymn. Thus, I invite everyone at home to come before the Lord Jesus and quieten ourselves, and to solely remember the Lord with thanksgiving.

Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for Your sacrificial love for us. You suffered on the Cross for our transgressions, You shed your blood for us, that we may be saved by Grace and receive the blessings from God and the Eternal Life in Christ. Today as we gather here to commemorate what the Lord had accomplished for us, let us offer our thanksgiving through our meditation and prayer. We commit this time unto You, may you lead each of us. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
